Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 16, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ShubHQ ("ShubHQ", "we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) on shubhq.com and across our Service. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owners. We also use related technologies, such as local storage and session storage in your browser, which serve similar purposes. In this Policy, the word "cookies" covers all of these.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary
These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions you take (logging in, setting privacy preferences, filling out forms). Examples include:
- Authentication and session cookies
- Security and CSRF-protection tokens
- Load-balancing cookies
Legal basis: these are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive because they are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested.
3.2 Preferences
These cookies remember choices you make (such as language, theme, or recently used workspace) so the Service behaves the way you expect on your next visit.
2.3 Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used in aggregate, which features are popular, where users get stuck, and how to improve the product. PostHog uses a pseudonymous user ID and event data; we configure it to truncate IP addresses where possible. Analytics cookies are only set after you give consent (where required by law).
2.4 Marketing
We currently do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not allow third-party advertisers to set cookies on the Service. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request your consent before any such cookies are set.

4. Third-Party Services
Some cookies are set by third parties acting on our behalf as sub-processors. The full list of providers we use, including their roles and locations, is published in our Privacy Policy.
Notably, payment processing is handled by Creem.io as the Merchant of Record. Creem may set its own cookies on the checkout pages it hosts; those cookies are governed by Creem's own privacy and cookie practices.
5. How to Control Cookies
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in our footer (where available) or by using the controls in your browser.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Useful links:
Please note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Service from working (for example, you will not be able to stay signed in).
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We honour GPC signals where applicable as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information, even though we do not currently engage in such practices.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
